RIM CEO blames Apple iPhone 3G for Blackberry BOLD's delay

We told you! And here comes the reaction. After the problems created by iPhone 3G on AT&T network, the carrier has intensified its testing process for new handsets. Thus delaying the Blackberry Bold 9000 which should have been on sale by now. However the BOLD is still off the US market, and no date has been announced for its release.

RIM may be blaming Apple for the delay, but they would perhaps agree internally that it is a policy change by the carrier that is prompted by a shift in the industry towards smartphones and not the iPhone. And who knows, perhaps BOLD had issues and they are tweaking software to please ATT?
